Avenue’s
fun,
open,
airy
atmosphere
it
will
showcase
fine
art
throughout
the
salon
from
local
area
artists

Dickson
Gallery

Fine
Art.
It’s
all
about
great
hair,
great
art,
and
great
music
at
Carolina
Avenue.
A
special
after
hours
grand
opening
reception
was
held
Thursday
evening,
September
14th
from
6:30p-9:00p
and a packed house clearly
showed the success of this unique
salon - art gallery combination.
 With
Carolina
Avenue’s
fun
eclectic
staff
who
are
constantly
educating
themselves
in
the
art
and
science
of
hair,
it
seemed
like
a
perfect
fit
when
Rachel
Dickson,
owner
of
the
Dickson
Gallery
was
approached
by
Carolina
Taylor
the
owner
of
Carolina
Avenue.
“I
could
see
joining
with
Dickson
Gallery
as
a
merger
between
two
different
art
genres
kind
of
crisscrossing….we’re
all
local
and
we’re
all
good
talent
showcasing
each
other….it’s
unique
and
works
well
together.
I
feel
like
bringing
art
in
the
salon
would
reflect
what
we
are…we’re
different.
The
avenues
of
hair
and
the
avenues
of
art
all
kind
of
merge
together
at
some
point.”

said.

naming
her

Avenue
(CA).
 Rachel
Dickson
agreed,
“Every
person
is
a
little
different
and
joining
with
Carolina
Avenue
seemed
like
a
perfect
opportunity
for
us.
We’re
always
looking
for
unique
ways
to
expose
the
Jackson
community
to
original
artwork
and
appeal
to
a
different
yet
distinctive
audience.
What
an

creative
environment
