My
childhood memories are limited
when it comes to trick-or-treating
and Halloween adventures. But
it is clear to me that donning
a costume and becoming something
other than yourself for an evening
can be a lot of fun. There’s
a lot of great events going
on downtown this weekend that
you definitely need to be aware
of. Here’s some highlights…First
of all, Thursday night October
27th starting at sundown d.n.
English will be hosting the
annual “Walking Ghost Tour of
Jackson” in front of City Hall
on Main Street. Come and
explore the ghostly tales of
downtown Jackson as told by
d.n. English with guest storytellers
and new stories for all ages.
There is no charge to
attend and maps will be available.
For more information call

up, Friday evening October 28th

the party animal and don your
favorite costume for this Halloween
pub-crawl & downtown-wide
open house. This event

Bar and Grill located at 217
W Main St from 7:00p-7:45p.
The event continues on
to Shooter’s Lounge located
at 111 E Lafayette St from 7:45p-8:30p,
and will finish off with the
grand-finale at the Downtown
Tavern located at 208 N Liberty
St from 8:30p-?? Costumes will
be judged throughout the evening
(by a secret panel) and winners

Tavern at 9:30p (must be present
to win and have hand stamped
